It's been five years since Caio, Meedan's Check development lead, last gave a keynote at Media Party! As a developer, Caio's experience on the transformations that fact-checking and journalism have undergone during that time, driven by the pandemic, advancements in AI, the rise of new misinformation dynamics, and evolving media technologies, is unique to examining how tools that journalists use have changed.
